Unfortunately i have to leave this rather negative reviews which is disappointing after reading the very positive ones. The job was for a piano move from 1 house to another. After accepting the quote, I didn't hear anything from the company, following up after a week to organise a date.
The date was booked but on the day, the time was changed numerous times by numerous people - I wasn't sure who to believe. First it was booked for later due to truck trouble, this i can understand but then i received a phone call asking my my address informing me they'd be arriving within half and hour. I reminded them of the booked time and after more phone calls agreed to come at the booked time. Another phone after the booked time to inform me that they'd be there in 2-3 hours, i again reminded them of the booked time. We had 2 houses to coordinate to make sure someone was home. They arrived an hour after the booked time. Some time after that, the manager/owner called to inform me they'd had some trouble moving it out of the house and had to remove doors, asking me for an extra $100. I rang the occupant of the house and this wasn't the case at all! No doors had to be removed so i rang the manager and refused to pay the extra $100.
When the piano arrived at my house, the didn't have any specialised piano moving equipment (which would have helped them at the first house) and didn't seem to be experts at moving pianos. One gentleman seemed to at least have moving experience but they struggled to move it. They did take care not to scratch it when moving it in tight places and were gentle with it - it arrived in 1 piece. The movers then wanted me to pay via PayID rather than the xero link that had been sent which i thought could have been risky.
Overall, wouldn't recommend - particularly for a piano removal.

Quikky Move were excellent in every way. I asked for a job to be done in the mid afternoon on one day and they had my piano moved by 5 pm the next day! I’m so grateful and pleased with the company. Thank you Quikky moves and Upmoves. 🙌🙏🏽
