1% For The Planet is a global movement founded by Yvon Chouinard, the founder of Patagonia clothing, and his close friend Craig Matthews. The initiative works with businesses like ours to help give something back to the planet by ensuring environmental charities have the funds they need to build a greener tomorrow for us all.
Since its inception in 2002, 1% For The Planet has drummed up just over $280 million dollars with the help of 5,000 business – all of which has gone towards grassroot sustainable organisations.
Every donation we make on a yearly business is certified and audited by 1% For The Planet to ensure that our contribution is going to the right places. With this and our other sustainability projects, we’re dedicated to doing more to fight climate change and to turn our planet’s fortunes around.
