I waited all day for my car to arrive on the scheduled date then when it hadn't arrived by 4.30pm I called and was told it would be delivered two days later. On that day I called at 1.30pm and was told that the car would be delivered in two hours. Just before delivery time I got a text claiming urgent family matter and had to turn around and return to Sydney (6 hours away). Turns out the car was never going to be delivered that day as it was in Sydney when I got that text. Was promised delivery 2 days later again, then another day later. On day of delivery I called at 8.45am to find out delivery time as I had to reschedule work commitments around it. Was told midday. At 12.40pm no delivery so I called and was told driver had been delayed as had to get a new tyre, would be another 80 minutes. I rescheduled work commitments again. Finally got my car only to find a fresh scratch on rear passenger door. Driver checked photos taken at pick-up and no scratch was visible so must have occurred while car was in their posession. Owner denied liability, was very rude and aggressive about it, told me he wouldn't pay for repair. He made it very clear that he would make it difficult for me if I wanted to claim repair, despite them being insured. Said I could chase him all I liked and take him to court if I wanted but he was never going to pay. These sort of intimidation tactics and refusal negotiate a reasonable outcome say a lot about a person's character. Their customer service is non-existant. I had to initiate every episode of communication with this company, they never advised me of delivery times or delays until I called them. I was honestly starting to think I had been scammed until I got my car. Relieved to finally have my car but will never use South Coast Towing again and recommend avoiding at all costs.

We are a family-owned small transport business that can provide anything from breakdown towing to interstate transport. We have a fleet of trucks that travel up to Brisbane and down to Melbourne on a weekly basis. We can also arrange enclosed transport and quote on trips to other states.

Great experience with Parkin & Co moving my car from Cairns to Brisbane. Easy process, good communication, and the car arrived on time in perfect condition. Additionally, when dropping off the vehicle Paul noticed the plastic engine splash guard was hanging low - no fault of theirs. He took the time to tie it up to prevent it coming off when the vehicle had to be driven home. Parkin and Co went above and beyond, at a great price.
